Another Easy Way to Add Flavour

This simple idea (too simple to call it a recipe!) is perfect for those days when you need a wonderful dinner and an easy plan. Marinade to the rescue! Mix our Moroccan Lemon Marinade with any meat until it's well coated. Place in the fridge for two hours. Add olives, onions and either dates, prunes or dried apricots. Then add a little stock and cook slowly until the meat is cooked through. Serve on couscous with baby spinach!

Zesty Guacamole

We love to serve this flavourful dip on crackers or toast. It's also a lovely quick breakfast or lunch when served by the spoonful with an egg. Ingredients 2-3 avocados (2-3) 2 tomatoes   ½ red onion, finely sliced Juice of ½ lemon (or to taste) A pinch of Savour & Spice Garlic & Mustard Pepper A pinch of salt ½ tsp of Savour & Spice Mexican Adobo Rub. Instructions Blend all ingredients. Serve on crackers or toast and enjoy!

Delightful Turmeric Latte

One of our customers created the recipe for this delightful treat using the flavours in our Little Box of Spices. A wonderful warmer for any time of day!  Ingredients ½ tsp of turmeric ¼ tsp of ginger ½ tsp cinnamon a pinch of black pepper 4 cups of milk of your choice: almond, rice, oat or dairy (or water) Instructions Whisk together milk and spices in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Friday Night Spanish Chicken

This is our Friday-night favourite, a wonderful dish for entertaining friends or for an extra-special family dinner.
